Make your own Fruit Snack Protein Bar

Ever wanted to make your own health protein bars? Well, here is a recipe for a home-made protein and carbohydrate bar! They are delish!

Ingredients

1 ½ lb. rolled oats
½ lb. dry milk powder
1 tbsp. cinnamon
½ pint lite syrup
2 scoops protein powder (any flavor you like)
2 egg whites
3 tbsp. orange juice
½ lb. raisins and chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients together and add to a greased paper lined baking dish. Spread mixture evenly. Before you bake, cut into 10 squares. Put into a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Store in an airtight container.

20 grams of carbs
